Living with various types of arthritis can be painful, and even debilitating at times. I have experienced the nasty, aggravating, life-changing effects of arthritis first hand.
Today, I am sharing some wonderful gifts ideas that are comforting and useful in relieving the inflammation, aggravation, and pain of arthritis symptoms. Any of these gifts would be very much appreciated by that special person in your life who is battling with the pain of arthritis.
These gifts may not be on the wish list of the average person, but for someone with arthritis they can definitely provide relief and are really more of a NEED than a want. I truly believe that we can be practical in our gift giving by choosing gifts that are meaningful to the person who receives them. Gifts that improve the overall quality of someone’s life are guaranteed to remind that special someone of your thoughtfulness for years to come.
I purchased the Benefab ceramic gloves about three years ago, and let me just say, “WOW!” These gloves truly relieve painful inflammation in my wrist and fingers. My friend and previous co-worker, Caroline, (an avid horse lover) recommended this product to me.
Caroline’s horse had a joint injury that wouldn’t heal, the injury was affecting the quality of life for her horse, and was extremely troublesome for both the horse and Caroline. The veterinarian wrapped the horse’s joint in a ceramic horse bandage, after which time there was a marked decrease in the inflammation resulting in increased healing in her beloved horse.
Later, discovering that the same technology was available in ‘people’ gloves, she didn’t hesitate to purchase a pair for herself. She was amazed at the difference these gloves made in her own joint relief and passed along the information to me. I admit I was a bit skeptical at first….
But I am willing to try anything that might help, so I found myself at the local Equestrian store purchasing these ceramic gloves. These unique gloves utilize a fabric infused with ceramic nanoparticles to promote relaxation in muscles, joints, tendons, and ligaments which reduces pain and inflammation.
The gloves are fingerless, making them easy to wear at home, at the office, or even while blogging. They are not warm or thick like winter gloves, although they do actually warm up the joints. You actually have to build up your tolerance for them by starting to wear them and increasing the time worn each day.
These superb gloves provide the same benefits as pressure gloves but without the discomfort of compression. They provide pain relief which makes them a great gift for someone with arthritis in the joints in their hands. The IMAK gloves below seem to be a comparable product that is sold on Amazon.
When I saw these slipper boots on the Lillian Vernon website, I could have cried. These slippers are a dream come true for my aching, painful feet. I have never seen anything like them in any store and definitely feel blessed beyond belief to have been contacted by LV to partner with them as an affiliate for their amazing company.
The cold winter weather began earlier than ever here in Kelowna so the timing couldn’t be better for me to come across these heatable slipper boots. Not only do you heat them up in the microwave to keep your tender tootsies and ankles warm but these booties are infused with lavender which is my all-time favorite essential oil. These plush slipper boots provide ultimate soothing for anyone with arthritis in their feet.
Keeping the joints and the whole body cozy and warm eases the aches and pains of arthritis. Heated blankets are a superb gift idea. Who doesn’t want to cuddle under one of these soft fleece blankies on a chilly winter day?
Keeping the neck and shoulders warm will help with circulation to these areas and for me this reduces inflammation. Scarves are a super way to keep the neck and shoulders warm while and one of the best accessories for winter dressing, they make it easy to dress up your outfit and add a touch of style or class. With so many choices in colors and styles, a scarf makes a great personal gift.
The extra length of this king size heating pad means increased blood flow stimulating muscle relaxation and promoting healing to a larger area. This particular heating pad also has an auto-shutoff feature which gives me peace of mind because, in our house, it seems children and adults alike forget to turn it off.
Oh yes, this gift is on my LOVE list. You will find one upstairs, one downstairs and one at our RV.
These pillows prove that lumbar support to not only improve posture and ease lower back pain can look good too. These pillows are available online at Target.

Here are two practical home items that ease the pressure on arthritic hands, which in turn decreases wear and tear on the joints affected by inflammation. These two handy-dandy gadgets I really would not want to be without. I love to receive practical gifts but I realize that not everyone does. If the person for whom you are buying the gift might think it odd to receive a household gadget, simply pair the gift with something soothing like bath bombs, candles, or a warm scarf. This way, you are giving a gift that is totally useful in their life and also helping them de-stress which is also important in controlling the symptoms of auto-immune and arthritic diseases.
This gadget is a lifesaver for fingers and wrist joints. I am on my second Robo, I had the first one about ten years and paid $25.00, so I figure that’s a pretty good deal.
This product is easy to use, just place it on the lid of any jar you wish to open, push the big green button and voila, the Robo rotates until you hear that magic sound, ‘POP.’ The work is done, without any further damage to the fragile joints in the hands.
Can I just say EEEEEEEKKKKK, this little scrubbing tool has saved my fingers so much agony. I purchased one of these gadgets and oh my gosh, do I wish I had bought one sooner. Trying to scrub the ring around the drains or the shower door seal, the drains, and all that other gunk that seems to build up in the tiniest places used to be a definite pain, but with this scrubber, it’s a breeze.
This handy gadget cleans faster and easier than manually scrubbing ever could. If you or someone you know uses the old toothbrush trick to clean tiny spaces, they NEED this amazing power tool. When I broke my wrist and had a housekeeper come in to help with the cleaning, I left this handy dandy gadget out for her to use. She was so impressed with it that she went out and bought one for each of her employees.
Some of these products I am affiliated with, which means if you click on the link or image and purchase any items on their website I might recieve a small commission. The product does not cost you any more, but the payments help me to pay the costs of keeping my website up and running. I appreciate your support always.
