Basically, the home decor addict in my life is, well…. I have to admit, it’s me. I have put together this list of fabulous home decor and DIY items that I own, or that I would love to receive as a gift. I hope this helps makes shopping for the decorating addict in your life a bit easier.
Click on the images in this post for further details about the gifts on the list.
Any home decor addict would love to receive one of these whimsical wooden signs as a gift.
Oh my word, you have to check out this adorable shop on Etsy. The Farmhouse Addict has the CUTEST wood and canvas signs ever! I literally want every single thing in Kari’s shop, I have never seen so much charm all in one place. These handcrafted signs really are a perfect gift for the home decorator in your life. Any of these adorable signs would also make a thoughtful and most awesome hostess gift. If you are heading out to enjoy a yummy Christmas meal that you didn’t have to prepare, consider taking one of these beauties to show your appreciation to the cook.
Every DIY, home decorating lover need more craft supplies and of course, a pretty place to store them all.
Consider making a gift set filled with crafty things all wrapped up in a beautiful gold basket, a wire basket, or wooden crate.
This gold basket from Lillian Vernon is dreamy. OMGosh, don’t you just love that you can have it personalized?
Lovin’ these wooden crates. The chalkboard fronts make it easy to label and they are handy for all sorts of home items. I have similar crates on the shelves in my office/craft room.
Another great gift basket option is this French Farmhouse trendy vintage wire basket.
Do you know any DIY addict who doesn’t love chalk paint?
Adirondack white is my favourite color in the Folk Art Home Decor line. I recently used this paint to DIY placemats/wooden chargers, ornaments, and a coat hook for my office. You can view some of my creations on Instagram @lisadesignslife.
These craft supplies are all fairly inexpensive but add up to one amazing DIY gift.
There can never be enough holiday glitter so be sure to include some in the gift basket. Advantus non-toxic sparkling glitter is available in clear and nine other sparkly colors. The clear lids make it easy to find the right color when one is making a craft.
It’s always a treat to give supplies that the craft lover can turn into new decor items. This natural, unfinished wood slices set includes 20 pcs. and the jute twine for hanging. What a sweet deal, click the images below to check it out!
Your Home Decorator addict might DIY the unfinished discs into beautiful Christmas ornaments, and maybe you will be lucky enough to get one in return!
When I saw this personalized tartan blanket from Lillian Vernon, I knew it belonged on this gift list. Home decorators use blankets to accent sofas, benches, chairs, they throw them in baskets, on the hearth, and basically anywhere and everywhere.
What better gift than a tartan blanket monogrammed with their initials to show them you care?
This item is also a perfect addition to my earlier post “Practical Gifts for Anyone with Arthritis.” If you would like to buy a meaningful gift for someone who suffers from the pain of arthritis be sure to check out my other recommendations >> here.
Stars are one of my go-to decorating items for the holidays, and this year all the galvanized metal stars have won my heart. Speaking of stars, be sure to come back on December 1st to see my home all decked out with galvanized metal stars, wood stars, and a lot more. It’s exciting to join with a group of amazing Interior Stylists for the 2017 Christmas Holiday Home Tour and I can’t wait to see all their gorgeous holiday decorating ideas.
Gift giving for your home decor addict doesn’t get better than this metal star wreath.
Beautiful, winter white, metal and it even comes with the gold ribbon. This is a timeless piece of decor, making it a perfect gift which they are sure to hold dear for years to come.
Now for the most special gift of all.
For the person in your life who could use a helping hand when it comes to decorating, perhaps it is a skill that evades them no matter how hard they try, or maybe they are so busy decorating for others that they can’t seem to find time to decorate their own space.
It would be dreamy to have my friend Cheyenne turn one of the builder beige rooms in our home into a gorgeously styled space. She has such a good eye for all things interior design.
One look at Cheyenne’s website Sense & Serendipity and you will crave her styling touch in your home too. Every room she transforms really turns out magical and her interior styling is impeccable. Who wouldn’t love a gift certificate for a room makeover consultation, or help with the holiday decorating?
Click on the image below to head on over and meet Cheyenne, check out the other E-Design services she offers, then fill out the contact form to get started.
Happy shopping and I wish you a very, merry and love filled holiday season.
